Advertising Design—Graphic Design I
Graphic Design, Level One is an introduction to graphic design and design theory. The primary focus of the course is design theory including, balance, focal point, unity, visual hierarchy/proximity, repetition, and contrast. Additionally, basic skills in color and typography are introduced. The culmination of the course is for the student to put the theory in action by designing an advertisement for print and Instagram. All work is created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
