HUNGARIAN PROVERBS
This is a independent project, slowly developing 200 drawings, which endeavurs to capture Hungarian proverbs in a form of a flamboyant, childish illustrations. Proverbs are part of our heritage and it plays a big part in everyday life. Sometimes we don't even know how important, meaningful these sentences are going back even ages in time, but they just suddenly pop up in our heads and make our language more spectacular. Trying to capture these proverbs are not an easy task but totally worth it. Below you can find the explanations of every picture separately containing the proverb itself translated to English as well. Enjoy!
