Symbols and icons appear everywhere in the world, whether it is at a grocery store or in your own home. It can be easy to create a new and exciting poster from a simple idea. The following images are examples of turning an everyday object into a symbol that can appear on a poster. Posters use different concepts such as a combination of objects, juxtaposition, isolation, metaphors, change of context, physical similarity, and material change to convey an topic or idea. I was given the challenge to create a composition that would convey each design concept.
