COSMOPOLITE is an elite capital shopping and entertainment center in the Solomensky district. A feature of the project is the complete redevelopment of the 5th floor for the office of a rapidly developing IT company.
The project with a total area of 745 m2 was successfully implemented without exceeding budget, with a full-fledged embodiment of a concept developed exclusively for a cloud storage company.
The assignment from the customer is a comfortable modern office for accommodating staff of more than 100 people and the possibility of holding events and conferences. It is also necessary to create the possibility of flexible transformation of premises, depending on the dynamics of personnel growth, to think over the optimal zoning of the workspace, including the kitchen and coffee point.
Firstly, we integrated the existing structural elements of the building (columns, metal trusses, structural links) into the renovated office. Also, with the help of involved specialists, we organized additional ventilation, air conditioning, sprinkler fire extinguishing and smoke removal systems.
Secondly, we worked out competent planning of the logistics of the office itself – this is the zoning of the premises according to work processes, taking into account the correct division of personnel transit:
- Open Space;
- recreation area;
- lounge area;
- kitchen;
- coffee point;
- meeting rooms and phone booth (interviews, confidential negotiations, interviews);
- conference room.
The latter has almost limitless potential, since it is a transformable room. Thus, it can be used with equal success for various kinds of events and meetings.
Thirdly, we paid special attention to organizing a comfortable workplace for each employee. Color design and zoning of premises by function are responsible for navigation inside the office. Additionally, live greens were used to create a cozy atmosphere. Regarding the solution of problems with acoustics (one of the main problems of open offices is noise), we applied a whole range of solutions: sound-absorbing panels for the ceiling and walls, as well as specialized flooring.
