Elderly people are finding it increasingly challenging to work in the kitchen due to health reasons as well as unfriendly appliances. They often find it difficult to keep a tab of what is cooked especially on the gas stove as they are not able to frequently go to the kitchen or wait endlessly in the kitchen for the food to get cooked.
Solution,
Orb, is an automation at small level for indian kitchen to address day to day problems of using LPG gas stove. It comes with features like timer and intelligent whistle listener to make everyday life simpler and happier.
Idea won of Ignite Design Contest 2013 organized by TATA ELXSI under the age friendly kitchen appliance category.
