A 2007 project I completed as a freelancer for Large Design. I was responsible initially for developing the IA with the client, followed by the UI design.

Apart from being poorly presented the previous site was badly organised and hard to navigate so and the first task was to develop a clear site structure to allow for a much simpler navigation system and to improve content management and production. The look and feel was developed to work with the already established corporate identity (logo, typeface and basic palette) and to have it's own character whilst also working alongside offline promotional material.

The site was well received and remained live with few changes for about 3 years, it has since been redeveloped.

The weird floating blue ball thing was a campaign by the client's Ad agency. Sometimes you just have to make the best of what you're given!
A version of the homepage localised for Spain.
The page background style could be set to match a main image campaign.

Clicking the 'More…' tab in the top right of the main panel revealed a bar of related content (below). This duplicated navigation so the site didn't rely on people noticing the functionality in order to navigate.

Oticon maintains a large amount of content aimed at professional audiologists on a separate site. This was styled to match the design of the consumer site, but given it's own colour scheme.
