The Sixties: A Divided Decade
Identifying the influence of the sixties on today’s visual culture.
The Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences was celebrating the Twentieth Century with a series of exhibitions entitled Then and Now. The series showcased the best art, film, music and history from selected decades in the 1900s. The task was to design the overall identity and collateral for the 1960s decade exhibition. The solution aimed to bring together the influence of various art movements of the decade and present it in a modern way to be able to speak to younger generations through a contemporary visual language.
