Death Cafe London Underground Advertisements
In Summer of 2019, I studied abroad in London. As part of my work there, I was assigned a place in London to explore, and I had to design a piece around it. I was assigned the Brompton Cemetery.
During my stay in London, I developed a fascination for London’s transportation system. I wanted to incorporate this newfound interest into my final design, so I developed a series of advertisements for an event at the Brompton Cemetery. These ads would be displayed throughout the London Underground.
I used a green color scheme to reflect the lush greenery found at the cemetery. I went with a very formal typographic direction match the “serious” nature of the cemetery.
This type of advertisement would be displayed inside the trains running on the London Underground.
This variant would be displayed inside various London Underground stations.
