Cool Ideas is such a fun client to work for! Here's a compilation of some of my work.

Rob Roi being the mascot for the brand you'll see that he's used in a lot of fun and different ways.

Went through a few options of Yoda Rob Roi before we settled on the final one.

Forecourt

Having to design Rob Roi in Endgame Thor and MK Scorpion style was a time challenge because I wanted to do the characters justice while still staying true to the Cool Ideas flat vector style but I think everything turned out okay :)

Looking for references gave me a good excuse to watch some Mortal Kombat & Avenger videos. How is it that "Get over here!" will never not be cool?

Of course 44 layers isn't all that much but the expression Rob Thor is making is how I feel every time I have to go and properly name each layer to get a character ready for rigging :(

Festive Post

December time always makes everyone feel warm and fuzzy so this was a cute one to design :)

I think I got ill when it was time to animate this so Nkosinathi Mhlongo really came through with some great animation here
