Introduction

For our first assignment, we are told to capture FIVE different photographs and juxtaposed them creatively using digital illustrations done in Adobe Photoshop and Illustration.

As an end product, each illustrated photograph should be accompanied with an elaborated explanation of the concept and compiled as an A5 photobook.

For this project, I decided to take photos of the current inventions and compare them the not so long ago inventions.

Camera Set-ups

The camera set up is just a simple photography session using white paper for the background and a DSLR camera. Each of the items in my photographs were placed on the white paper for easier editing in Adobe Photoshop later. After finish taking photos, I edit their lighting and exposures using the Adobe Lightroom.

Finalized Photobook Design

Below is the final design of the photobook. I decided to do a minimalist designs of each pages of my photobook.

The Whole Cover Page

The picture in my photobooks cover page, I used from one of my previous work Geminaiman. In my opinion, it shown a juxtaposed between a smart man looking at a normal man.
