Juxtaposition Photography and Illustration

A very good day to all who view my work, today i would like to present to you my latest work that is presented to us which is juxtaposition. In this assignment, we are to combine both digital illustration with 5 different real life photography. So i took the privilege to make an actual story line out of this since that is considered one of the requirement.

This work i would like to called it as "The Mushroom Warrior". I call my work this because the story begins with a princess being kidnap by a mischievous dragon and one white mushroom warrior will stand against this creature and of course happily ever after since it is a family friendly genre. The tool i used to make this artwork are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and my phone camera. Adobe illustrator help in creating all the cartoon doodle that i created. Adobe Photoshop help add in filter, highlights, extra lighting to make it more cinematic and extra effects like the final picture. 

This is the picture that i use for my final product picture no 1 and 3 are caught in Tasek lama. Picture 2 and 5 are captured from a newspaper and a kid's book and both are from my home. And finally 4th picture i stumble upon by accident which is at the back of my neighborhood. It's a really big decrepit building that look almost like a castle.

We are also told to make a A5 photobook version of the picture i created. Since my picture resolution are pretty constant, i decided make each artwork in their own individual page instead and make them as unique as i can.

That summarize all the work i done for this assignment it proves to be one of the toughest one. However, the final version make it all worth it. As the saying goes the nothing venture nothing gain. I definitely would like to make something more on digital illustration as i am not really skilled yet at capturing at photograph though i know how capture a moment at notice.
