Sonic the Hedgehogs Birthday
To celebrate Sonic's birthday I designed an installation created
Out of mega drive cartridges. Members of the public would remove a painted
Cartridge, insert it in to the Sega Mega drives on scene and if they sonic boots up they win a prize. There would also be supported animations of the wall posted online to promote the event. This conceptual project I did for a YCN competition during University. From entering this I was commended by YCN and attended an award ceremony in London. Later that year Sega invited me to an event to launch the new Sonic game. At this event my work was projected on a wall throughout the evening.
