BOX IT Social Change Campaign

BOX IT. BYU-I Social Change Campaign
Box it is a campus-wide campaign aimed at giving students and faculty the opportunity to step away from their devices and social media in order to better connect face-to-face with their peers. To do this, I modified a 3d box model found online (thingiverse.com), scaled it up, added instructions and our personalized logo which I designed, and 3d printed it on our school's 3d printers. These boxes are to be placed on tables in BYU-Idaho's dining hall and contain instructions for students and faculty to place their phones within the box, remove a conversation card from the box (which has a range of questions to promote conversations with anyone) and take some time to have a meaningful and undistracted conversation. I also created promotional material to be displayed around campus such as a wall-sized poster that is on display in the school's library, vinyl stickers, and an animation to be broadcast on the school's televisions.
