Wine. Whiskey. Dine.

At a time when brick and mortar shops shrink into an online existence, Ed Mabrie has taken his success as a private chef and blogger to the street markets of the San Francisco Bay Area in the form of a spice blend series. 

But first, his online presence needed a graphic jolt, away from no logo at all, to something that encompasses his three passions, wine, whiskey, and fine dining. 

"My previous designer and I worked with was using the three letters (WWD) surrounded by circular “stains” from a wine glass (red/burgundy), a whiskey glass (tan/golden), and food (greenish) but when they were interlocked, they ended up looking too much like the symbol for the Olympics!  I basically want something that symbolizes wine, whiskey, and food." - client
His flare for deliciousness met with my simplistic type-mark style to create this logo, after dozens upon dozens of iterations. 
As a private chef for over 20 years, Ed Mabrie knows that a few key ingredients can elevate a dish from great to legendary. He's searched the world to curate exotic spices, when combined with classic seasonings, making each buyer a kitchen legend. His Spice Blend series, Dinner Alchemy, can also be seen in my portfolio.
