rematerialized was an art exhibition hosted by the New Mexico State University Art Gallery that displayed art that functioned to challenge traditional conventions about what art can be and how we percieve it. The show featured the artwork of nine different artists from the US and Canada. The pieces were made from found objects like zippers, ribbons, junk drawers, rubble, and discarded pots that were "recycled, reapplied, recast, recombined, and re-contextualized from our everyday material world."
The following promotional materials were designed to focus on the question: "Is it art?" The ambiguous imagery combined with simple typography was chosen to represent the artists' work and poignantly address the issue of what we consider as art. The promotional materials included a mailer tent fold card, four 9-foot tall vinyl banners, a series of posters, and a digital e-vite for email invitations.
