OYO Valentine's Day #CheckInForLove

Background
Couples are over 40% of our business. On V-Day, we know they’ll check-in with us anyway. 
So instead of hard-selling ourselves, we created content that is relatable, easy to consume and quirky.

Approach
Much like OYO makes hospitality accessible, our campaign takes the western concept of Valentine’s day and desi-fies it. Riding on existing pop phrases and cult art styles, we own Valentine week with a dedicated post for each day.

Execution
Each piece is inspired by an art style from desi pop-culture and recreated in-house. No stock images. Piece by piece we bond our consumer with a very global festival in a tone and manner that is uniquely us.

Summary
With so many cliches revolving around Valentine’s Day, our message: #CheckInForLove was a call to those looking to seek refuge from these norms and spend the day as they see fit.
We gave a fun, quirky take to iconic Hindi lines from pop-culture corresponding to each of the 6 days preceding Valentine’s Day (Rose Day, Hug Day, etc.) with illustrations that would catch the eyes of the millennial audience(on our India pages).
