This was a formative non-assessed piece of work created for the first year module 'Camera and Editing'. As a result, our group was given a short period of time, to create a short fictional film to demonstrate our basic understanding of both the camera and the editing software 'Avid Media Composer'.
The premise of the film, involved a mysterious meeting between two young individuals. The narrative is set-up to initially showcase a shady exchange of a package, but later progresses into a gun-wielding foot chase.
To evoke a sense of action and tension, we tried to embed a broad array of camera shots and techniques, including low angle shots, shot reverse shots and tracking shots, in which we used a dolly to achieve the effect.
