And the most important! Huge thanks to Mrs Dorota Kurkowska, the owner of Dzikie Pląsy, for the most crazy idea for a kids playground and for an incredible amount of trust and help when making this project come to life and keep it going. You rock! (ง'̀-'́)ง
Some fun data:
— works started in summer 2019 and the playground was finally opened in autumn 2019 with a few false starts;
— over 500 metres of painters tape was used when making all the walls, and over 100 brushes were thrown away of overuse;
— all walls were painted by just one person (me!) and it was way over 2 months of day-to-day work of painting and making interior design decisions with the owner, like choosing sofas, light fixtures, furniture, trimmings, carpets etc. — just to make sure everything will look stunning when finished;
— nobody knows how many cats were painted and printed on stickers in this one playground, maybe around 500-700 (?) — feel invited to count;
— somewhere at the playground I've hidden unusual cats for children to find (example: cat with an extra sharp claw sticking out, cat sleeping with its tongue out, cat in a white party hat etc.) — and the kids are loving it;
— kids favourite cat is the one with a divergent squint;
— over 7 kg of cream fudges is being eaten by playground guests each month;
— this presentation does not include a ton of flyers, posters, tickets, social media and event graphics etc. — it was just too much to put in one place...
