Moustache Wordpress Website Build and Design 
Website Design for a Cookie Company 
Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar
As apart of my Digital Marketing Course I had to develop and design a new website for my chosen company. I chose Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar which is a cookie company based in Auckland, New Zealand. 

The new website for Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar is designed within current industry standards and trends. The Divi Wordpress theme provides easy navigation and simple layouts that help reflect the minimalistic and simplicity of the Moustache brand. Appropriate imagery and imagery from the current website and colours were used to ensure the Moustache brand was represented accurately. The design of the website was created in a way to enhance the user experience, facilitate sales, and to be more visually appealing 

The current Moustache website was too static and had no engaging elements. The new website design has more engagement elements and a “fun” feel with the website through the use of parallax which can help with user engagement and the stimulation of sales.

Wireframe Design and Website Pages
Wireframes were created beforehand to help determine what content will be used for each page and how each page will be laid out.
Home Page

The new homepage included in the new Moustache website will help inform customers of new product releases, new information about the company/ brand, and generate brand awareness and customer engagement.

There are more call-to-action buttons added. Some can be seen on the home page that encourages customers to travel to different areas of the website in a quick and efficient manner. The “Shop Now” or “Cookie Shop” call-to-action buttons will also help facilitate more product sales. There is a Newsletter sign-up function on all pages to not only attain email opt-ins for future promotional and marketing material but to also influence customer loyalty and engagement with the company/brand on a consistent basis.

Shop Page - Cookie Shop

An easy and simple shopping process design has been used for better and enhanced customer journeys. The cookie shop is separated into categories similar to the current Moustache website as it helps customers with their product purchases. In regards to the brief, to limit product purchasing time and for more efficient shopping experiences, a quick-view plugin is installed that provides a quick overview of products and a quick shopping and purchase process. There is also a wish-list plugin installed for customers to save the products they want for future purchase. This plug-in can help encourage future sales and act as a reminder to purchase their favoured products through the use of reminder email marketing. When purchasing a product, information is provided about product ingredients and materials and there are product personalisation options available to further enhance customer shopping experiences. 

There is also a product review section provided to stimulate product sales and encourage user-generated content which can also help in influencing brand reputation if used and monitored appropriately. The shop page also shows related products that customers may want to buy, which helps in stimulating company sales and revenue. The related-products function can also be seen when viewing the cart to encourage more sales. 
Blog Page

There is a blog page installed on the new website which can help with SEO optimisation. The blog posts can help provide and influence customer engagement with the company/brand and encourage sales. A simple yet attractive design was chosen to provide a nice flow and to attract customers into reading the blog posts. 
About Us Page

The About Us page has more relevant and engaging content added to it to increase consumer engagement with the website and the brand. The sections provided on the page provide clean, easy, clear, and visually appealing content that communicates information about company products, the brand, and the company story. An engaging video is installed for consumer engagement, to facilitate brand awareness, and to increase loyal consumerism. 

More call-to-action buttons were integrated to stimulate product sales through the cookie shop. There is also a section provided on Moustache team members to not only provide consumers with information about the employees that work at Moustache but to also help facilitate the brand’s story-telling. 
FAQ Page

A FAQ page is included as per the brief and helps customers find answers to useful questions about the company and its products. A section of Blog articles is also provided on the page that may also help in answering customer questions. A contact section is placed at the bottom to quickly get in touch with the company if they need more help or have concerns that the FAQ page may not have the answers to.  
Contact Us Page

The new Contact Page supplies various contact methods for customers e.g. phone number, email addresses, contact form so that customers can easily get in hold with staff. It also supplies store opening hours, shop locations, and has interactive google maps embedded to help in locating the Moustache shops which are all useful information that can help in enhancing customer shopping experiences and processes. A chat box is also provided to provide real-time help for customers and to help increase sales and brand reputation. An email address has also been placed on the secondary menu for easy and faster contact with the company. 
Responsive Design

The website has a responsive design, making it suitable to view on devices such as smartphones and tablet devices. This increases the chance for more sales through different channels and facilities an increase in brand exposure.

Additional Features

Primary Menu - The Primary menu header remains when it scrolls for better user experience and to fast-track users onto other pages of the website. 

Payment - There are many payment options available for customers such as Stripe, PayPal, and cash on delivery to help facilitate easy and efficient customer shopping experiences. 

Appeal & Competitive Advantage - The website design helps to engage with Moustache’s target market of young adults to adults as it is visually appealing and is based on industry standards and trends. The new website design also places a competitive advantage in relation to Moustache’s competitors such as “Kookie Huas” as Moustache’s new website meets industry standards and trends. 

Overall, through the use of the Divi theme and the industry standard plugins and designs, the new website designed for Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar should help in meeting the Moustache’s company objectives which are that:

1) The website must be consistent with the Moustache Branding and colour theme.
2) Have an increase in website traffic and an Increase in sales from the website.
3) Have a simple, clean, minimalistic feel and look – consistent with branding.
4) Must be appealing and have an easy navigation.

The new Moustache website should also help in increasing brand awareness, loyal customers, sales, repeat sales, revenue, better SEO optimisation and security, and a positive brand reputation.
