Tensional Integrity, or tensegrity as Buckminster Fuller named it later, was the technique used to construct the Clothes Hanger. But tensegrity has to be defined as a structure of floating elements combined all together in a net of continuous tension. In this structure, the floating elements are wooden sticks that are suspended with ropes so that they do not touch each other.
