In spring semester of 2012 I was selected alongside 12 other top Illustration students, to work on the Ringling College annual comic 'Meanwhile'. Over 2 months I presented story ideas and sketches, that were reworked multiple times until the drawing, color, and readability of the comic was accepted. In the end the comic was printed and given away at Megacon, a comicbook convention in Orlando, FL. 

We attended the convention in March. Early each morning before the convention started we passed out our comics to people standing in line. The rest of the day we spent at our boothe doing walk up commissons.

 

You might notice the comic I did looks similar to the childrens book I did located here. During the time of the comic I was also working on this children's book and my teacher suggested I work with the same characters, with a different concept. Here are the original designs from the book.
