Setting Sun Sake Brewing Co.
I decided to do a fun side project and do a re-brand for a sake brewing company called Setting Sun Sake. This company is a craft sake brewery located in San Diego, California. As the popularity for artisan and craft brewing increases, they believe that sake is the next big thing. They use locally sourced ingredients with a house blend of yeast in order to create a West Coast style craft sake. They are heavily influenced by their passion for music, art, and culinary pursuits. They create many specialty sakes, some of which are reminiscent of craft beers such as their sour watermelon sake.
This was a fun concept I played around with for their product. The idea was to create a trio sampler for customers to be able to take home for themselves or as gifts for families and friends. The individual glass comes as a single opening jar, a style known as a one-cup sake, where the intention is for the sake to be drunk in one sitting.
