This was an ISTD brief for 2012, the aim for the brief was to reinvent the book we all know today. The story was 'The Waitress' by Jack Zipes. My idea was to design a book for the people that don’t like reading. I didn’t want pages and pages of text. I wanted to keep each page short but each page visually engaging and making the emphasis of the book on a purely typographical basis. I used techniques such as screen-prints, ink rolling, die-cut and letterpress to create this.
