This project gave me a chance to voice my philosophy as a designer. It also was meant to reflect what I would like the future of design to look like. I began with a poem/manifesto that embodied my philosophy:
Balance is what makes the world go around.
Balance is design.
Balance is a learning process and most
importantly, personal process.
Although it may cause unbalance, other’s balance
should be taken into consideration.
Discomfort and reflections on our balance should be made
occasionally in order to keep developing as a designer
and most importantly as a human.
Natural flows of balance should be found within design.
Your design is a reflection of your balance.
