PROJECT RANURA LAMP/

We designed a natural light dimming lamp. By opening or closing the Flaxco sheets you controll the amount of light that shines through. It's the most relaxing kind of light dimming since it dims on the blackbody radiator.

The goal of this project was to create a product or demonstrator to implement a new composite material into a product.

After testing the material to it's limits we discovered that it's a very strong and flexible material, lightweight but fragile at the cutting edges. We also saw that the material gave a great complexion to it's environment when it's combined with a light source.
