This is my college final piece called Injured man designed for an end of term exhibition. Its is a typographic piece that desmonstrates the injuries your susceptible to when undertaking extreme sports. It is printed on the body with a water based ink and 1950s letter press set straight onto my model 'Willdrews'.
This design was created for the purpose of being in an ectreme sports shop to raise awarnes of injures and in turn sell body protection. Alternatively it could be part of a brand for a company at a specific extreme sporting exhibition such as the Snowboard show or Mountainbike show at the NEC.
Towards the bottom you will see the final piece in situ at the exhibition and have include a screen to demonstrate the build up of text and injury. Higher up you can see thestep by step build up of type on the body.
As you can see in the image below and video above... the screen is used as a head to demonstrate the build up of injury and type on the part of our body that is at high risk to injury.
