Design for 4th International Congress of REBT 2019
Branding and materials for the 4th International Congress of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, organized by Babes-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca and Albert Ellis Institute, New York.
I was hired by the team in Cluj-Napoca to design the printed materials for the Congress, but since there was no visual identity for the event, we started with working out ideas for a logo.
The challenge was creating something significant for the domain, but avoiding the common symbols (Greek letter Psi, brains), and using the institutional color (dark blue).
The second phase was creating digital materials to aid the official Facebook Page to promote the congress and attract participants. These materials were required by the organizers, for different purposes and mediums (banners for partner websites, Facebook cover photo & profile photo, Easter Holidays card, daily program & keynotes for Facebook posts, and a Facebook profile photo badge)
Other printed materials
Auxiliary printed materials, an A3 poster with space for content, so that the staff can print anything in case of an emergency, a 16:9 ppt template, name tags and attendance certificates (automatically generated for each participant), notebook, tote bag and roll-up, all using the same aestethic as the brochure and the rest of the materials.
