BATTERY LIFE EXTENDER
This group project was a great experience in almost any aspect possible. The purpose was to invent a believable brand extension to an existing brand, yet the product needed to be unique.

We have come up with a battery life extender that is supposedly produced by the battery company Duracell ®. The product grants one hour of battery life for a mobile device, charged via mini USB port.
This is a promotional poster for the product that features the visualization of the product, the slogan for the campaign: "Another hour of power", some information and the logo and symbol for the product — all of this in order to deliver the idea to the public in an easy and understandable way.
Aside from the general stuff, my role in this project was to be a project manager, which meant general project organization, arranging general schedule and meetings, keeping meeting notes, dividing the work load between the team members, making sure the team is up to date on all of the aspects and most importantly making sure the project gets completed.

It was also my responsibility to design a workflow chart, which presented the process and the individual contribution of the members in a timeline.

FINAL DESIGN
What's on there:

1. The information on the chart derives from the meeting notes I have been keeping during the 6 weeks that the project ran.
2. Each member is represented by their own icon. There is a legend at the bottom of the chart.
3. The size of the shape indicates the importance of the particular event and the closeness to the centre indicates the relevance to the project. For example, some of the initial ideas were way of brief, so they are more to the sides of the poster.
4. Various collaborations between team members are indicated by shapes touching each other and also the work they have produced may have been relevant to another team member, so his/her icon would also touch them, yet further down the timeline.
5. The timeline starts at the bottom of the poster and ends at the top.
6. Important events are expressed through typography and short explanations.
7. Stage mottos and side notes are available on the right.
You can take a closer look of the full-size chart here.
