ViaSat hosts potential government clients in their Washington D.C. office. Graphics were needed to demonstrate the value of their products and services to the government.

To create visuals that were representative of the company’s California-based culture; and

Convey groundbreaking technologies ViaSat pursues.

To exploit the feeling of the California culture, classic skateboard decks were the chosen media focus. Five visuals were selected to represent innovative areas ViaSat serves: secure military communications, in-flight internet, residential internet, new communication technologies, and satellite communications. An illustrator was commissioned to illustrate skateboard decks hung throughout office corridors.
