VENTOSO
Urban Art Fest | Alcântara - Lisbon
VENTOSO was the culmination of a year-long project of urban art interventions in the Vale de Alcântara in Lisbon, in the neighborhoods of Cabrinha and Loureiro.
A project co-produced at the invitation of the non-profit association Projecto Alkântara, which aimed to change the dynamics of social neighborhoods through contact with art, implementing a large-scale urban art intervention program, children's workshops, senior workshops, exhibitions, conferences, market and hall-of-fames.
For the visual communication, was developed character directly related to graffiti. In a friendly and childlike approach, in order to captivate the interest and attention of younger audiences, to the cultural dynamics of graffiti and street art.

The space is contextualized through the use of the environment of the inner courtyard of the neighborhood in an imaginary of artistic appropriation of the neighborhood where the event was held.
VENTOSO was the naming chosen for the event, earning the name of an old neighborhood of Lisbon, Casal Ventoso, dismantled 20 years ago, and it's from which the inhabitants of the neighborhoods come from.
