The Animal Kingdom
My final project at college required me to explore a narrative/theme of my choice, I based my chosen theme around the animal kingdom. I chose a selection of animals from where I would aim to capture the nature/personality of these animals through a series of sculptures and photographs.
I was influenced by polygonal artwork and geometric shapes. This particular style of artwork involves using sharp, angular and simple shapes which I felt would convey the fierce nature of the animal kingdom in the form of a sculpture. The final sculptures were made using cardstock paper and were designed using Cinema 4D and Pepakura Designer.
