입묵찍기(North korea tattoo)

북한에서는 문신을 입묵찍기라고 부른다. 타투머신이 없기에 옛날 방식대로 바늘에 먹을 찍어서 하나씩 찍으면서 문신을 새기기 때문이 아닐까한다. 입묵문화는 남자들이 대체로 군대에 있을때 많이 찍는데 주로 남성성과 조국에 대한 충성심이 드러나는 글과 그림들을 찍는다. 어떤 입묵그림들을 찍는지 상상하며 하나씩 찍어서 북한의 입묵을 그려봤다. 타투는 나라마다 특색이 있는데 하나가 된 한반도에도 그런 특색이 있는 입묵문화가 생겨나길 바란다.

In North Korea, tattoos are called “ink chopping”. Since there is no tattoo machine, it may be because the tattoo is engraved while taking one by one. The ink culture often takes a lot of men when they are in the army, mainly writing and paintings that show masculinity and loyalty to the country. I imagined what kind of ink paintings I took, and I took pictures one by one to draw the ink of North Korea. Tattoos are unique to each country, and we hope that a Korean-style ink culture will be created on the Korean peninsula.
