Render Weekly opened a two week challenge collaborating with Rama Works, tasking fellow shooters redesigning the base of the M6 and rendering it out. Due to my laziness, I delayed for two weeks taking part to the task to deliver my submission. Here I shared this not evaluated proposal.
My design objective of M6 base was to create a smooth surface with finger size feature, keeping a consistency of touch feeling with key caps. Electroplated finish was selected for base to build a sense of contrast with sand blasting body part, and also for enhancing my first attempt of fingerprint effect application.
