Description:
To produce marketing materials for ‘The Great Gatsby’ screening event. The event was to raise money for local mental health charities.
Concept:
The event was organised by Nescol student at the Belmont Cinema’s Kino Bar. To strengthen the theme the room was turned into a 1920’s “Speakeasy”, with authentic 20’s cocktails, canapé’s and music.
The task was to create a main poster for the event, that can be either A4 or A3 in size, and a variation of the poster that can be used on Facebook, Instagram etc. as page headers or turned into handout leaflets.
The film is the main feature of the event and the “Speakeasy” room theme is an additional feature.
For this project I was inspired by the art deco 1920’s factors, the book and the movie.
