For this project we were to choose a simple ordinary object that can function as a symbol and photograph it at least 30 times. We then designed a book cover based on the symbolism through the mood and the object chosen to photograph.

I chose the book Lorna Doone after reading that Lorna was shot on her wedding day by her former betrothed who had vowed revenge. The apple is symbolic of forbidden love and the sinful murderous intent of Carver Doone. He felt if he couldn't have Lorna then no one would.
