Tasbih Collectables is a collection of five sets of prayer beads.
Tasbih Collectable’s goal was to sell the prayer beads not just for religious demographics but to broaden the market for everyone who likes to collect unique and sophisticated objects. The challenge was to design the packaging for prayer beads in such a way that it will not affront the feelings of religious followers and also to uphold its purpose.
The concept for this project was inspired by “Punjab” which is also known as the Land of Five Rivers. Each river has its own beauty and different stories and myths are related to these rivers. For each Tasbih package a legend related to a specific river was chosen. These legends were created as hand drawn illustrations which also mimic the flow of river.
