Vitacoco Commercial Project

In the making of this commercial project, my role was cinematographer. I was in charge of handling the camera, getting proper lighting, and getting the shots we needed for this commercial. My role would then evolve into shaping the commercial into my vision. I would provide the context for each scene, as well as figuring out the pacing.
What I most learned during commercial production is that everyone has their own version on what the finished product will be. Everyone would have ideas that would clash with each other, but we would all come to an agreement in the end.
The biggest challenge of this assignment was finding ways to get the team together. The whole team have lives of their own, so getting together was surprisingly the most difficult part of this project. Not only that, but also trying to find days where we were all available was also a troublesome task. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances would force us to find other available days.
The biggest growth in our team was going from a group of people that did not know what they were doing to a team that naturally worked together very well. We developed a sort of bond when making this commercial and we learned a lot from each other's certain set of skills and ideas.
What I would do differently next time is to not be so nervous when meeting my team members for the first time. Another thing would be to be more organized with each other's time and resources.
