This was made for Tinker Tales, Ang INK’s 25th anniversary exhibit at the Ayala Museum. Our idea was too collaborate with kids (of different ages and backgrounds) to make original stories, which we would then use as inspiration for our paintings. 

My painting was inspired by the story of Thea Santos, about a little siopao (a steamed pork bun) that goes to school. I wanted to flesh out that world: what would that school look like, what would her classmates look like, and what would they do?
