Piece #1- For my first pice of art used photoshop to create an eyeball that is detached but connected with a snake.  I incorporated hallucinations with the eye because people view things differently though their eyes with hallucinations.  I used a star background to create a darker appearance to bring out the colors in the snake and eye, then overlaying them to bring the piece together.  I used brushes to smudge the eye and make it look like its fading.  I also used different filters to contract the different pictures together.
Piece #2- For my second pice I used photoshop and overlaid different plants running together on Marilyn Monroe's face creating a "Spaced Mind".  I used the plants running together to relate the art back to hallucinations because peoples minds are at space when hallucinating.  I also overlaid space with a water color paint picture to make it look like Marilyn Monroe is under a barrier as if her mind is under a barrier.  I used brushes and the smudge tool to bring together the planets. I also used filters to change the images colors.
Piece #3- For this piece I used photoshop with a skull symbolizing a body when hallucinating.  I created symmetric butterflies flying out of the skull symbolizing thoughts flowing out of your mind when hallucinating.  I overlaid different painted backgrounds to mask the skull and I used filters to change the butterflies color to grey to contrast with the center point which is the skull.
Piece #4- For this piece I used photoshop to created people skiing on smoke coming out of someones mouth.  I overlaid a mountain background with a ski lift to create a true ski setting.  I also incorporated a galaxy image to bring the readers eye more on the center point of the skiers.  This relates back to hallucinations because the art is skiers skiing on smoke in from a mouth which can not happen in real life.  I used brushes and filters to bring all of the images together.  I also faded a persons face into the mountains to make the smoke coming out of her mouth look like snow.
