THEN AND NOW DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHS

On the outskirts of a small town in the Hungarian countryside, there is an old castle, called Zichy Kastely. Filled with rich history, it once served as a children’s home then after World War II served as a vacation spot for political leaders and their families. During the Revolution of 1956, the castle was used as a converted camp for disabled children and now serves as a conference center. With photographs of its past, I was given the opportunity to make “then and now” documentary photographs to compare with present-day views. Canon EOS 7D digital camera was used to photograph.
