Paper animation x Illustration animation for The Push 

The Push is a youth music organization and in this brief, we are asked to create a paper craft animation to persuade them in join The Push. The target audience are young teenagers from age 12-19, the idea is to bring teenagers together and doing positive things that they love to do together.

I started doing the brief by creating frame by frame sketch to plan and work my way through the next process. 

After creating several pieces of paper craft, I brought the pieces to the studio and took the pictures with the help of Magda Ksiezak (@okaykiosk) who has helped me in turning the pieces to life.

Here are the paper craft pieces, combined and collaged as frames. After creating the paper craft, I've experimented and trying to find which animation works.

And then I begin the next process of illustrating characters and combine it with the animation.

The final work will be posted on Instastory, therefore I use 9:16 ratio in the final result.

Here's the final results! My idea is to create a playful and quirky illustration that represents youth having fun together with people their age with The Push. I've separated the scene of paper craft and the illustration by creating a transition to change the scene. Overall, it is a very fun project and I'm looking forward to dig deeper into animation.
