"FINNISH GOD AHTI"
One of the most important gods in ancient Finland was Ahti, the ruler of water, seal hunters and seals. I made this illustration after reading "Finnish mythology" by Martti Haavio. Ahti is shown as a serious, broody, melancholic man in gloomy surroundings. He has long, wet beard full of algae. I tried to combine all this features to show his character and mood.
