Mountain Gods Resort & Casino’s annual report combines Apache Indian artistic elements with letterpress and woodcut-inspired typography. The challenge was to make the information legible by stacking the typography in a consistent grid layout that showcased the fonts in a playful and charming matter. In order to add a letterpress and woodcut feeling to the design, I included subtle textures to the graphic elements and played around with the opacity of the borders. The textures were done in a way so that it would make the viewer want to touch and feel the print as if it was made from a traditional printing press.
