These illustrations show the anatomy involved in creating a supraclavicular fasciocutaneous flap for facial reconstruction following tumor removal. Skin overlying the deltoid is removed to become the flap, and this flap remains connected to its blood supply as it is repositioned onto the head or neck. It is very important to know the course of the supraclavicular artery and vein and the anatomy of the head and neck in order to create an optimal flap with good perfusion.
