This is packaging for an eco-friendly spiral CFL bulb. It was done as a project for my Packaging Design class at Pratt Institute.
The package consists of a two part tube that can be twisted for a display view, closed for protection during transport, and pulled apart to remove the bulb.
The tube design uses less material than the typical rectangular shape of most light bulb packaging seen in stores, since its circular shape conforms to the contours of the bulb. The design is printed in one color ink on thin, brown cardboard.
