The research based on the population growth and the potential to include work and leisure space into the basic living area regarding the basic apartment living lifestyle.
As a conceptual brief, I drew 4 key principles from the thematics of my research question:

- building and apartment prototypes for compact living
- 120-200 apartment units
- Space optimization strategies
- inclusion of live-work-play lifestyle
Not only the apartment unity but the whole building itself also represents the live-work-play cycle. Therefore, the spaces tend to be dynamic. In addition to the key concepts outlined, the following ideas are identified to enhance the building concept:
1. Bringing natural factors into the residential area (lighting, greenery)
2. Interaction with residents and the public
3. Inclusion of innovative building materials and systems
4. Encouragement of home based office
