Amber
Fine French Dining
Amber is a high-end French restaurant located in Vancouver, Canada. While honoring the historical tradition of French cuisine, the restaurant decided to go beyond providing distinguished savor, into the realm of creating a spectacular dining experience. In this branding project we have set out to create a restaurant that is calm, premium and exclusive. Amber's design was created not to grab everyone's attention, but to help position the brand as a discrete diner that serves only those who appreciate excellent fine-dining.
A simple all upper-case logotype is used to express the essence of the restaurant: quiet but exquisite. The rhombus with curved corners penetrates through the whole brand's presence, tying all the designs together and making the brand more recognizable. Prussian Blue was chosen to help reinforce the delicacy in the identity system.
