Jubilee the Singapore Whale

The main objective of this project is to show the skeletal anatomy of Sperm Whale (Physeter macrocephalus) that was washed upon our shores in July 2015. The vertebra bone that has been marked black was broken up into fragments. The suspected cause is a collision with a boat.

The traditional artwork is done in graphite, at size of slightly smaller than 3 A4, was done on-location at Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum over the span of three days.
The second part of Jubilee the Singapore Whale project discussing the adaptations of the species to deep-diving, production of echolocation and other record-breaking facts.
