Project: Every year, Kiwis send over 123,000 tonnes of edible food to landfills. Waste-Not Kitchen has been set up to repurpose such meat waste from Farro Fresh into nutritious soups. Tried&True Design developed this charming brand and packaging to help them attract consumers.
Input: During the initial concept development I was asked to make illustrations of a sheep holding a pot. After presenting a range of options one was selected and used to present to the client. Then I illustrated the other three animals: cow, pig and chicken. While the cow is based on our senior designer’s sketch, the other illustrations involve both character design and drawing them.
