Cilento: a place in a suspended time

Cilento: a place in a suspended time
Cilento is a sub-region in the south of Campania with a very strong identity in terms of culture, landscape, traditions and people. Most of its surface is a protected area, the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni Park, that encompasses a land and marine reserve.
In addition to its beautiful coast and sea, there are small villages that are worth a visit. Sometime you can run into a ghost village, like San Severino di Centola, that offers the possibility of a real throwback. The views over the Gulf of Policastro are magical and everywhere a suspended atmosphere reigns.
